Attached my kernel log

In a laptop with Amd processor (Turion 64x2) and nvidia GeForce 8200M G graphics [NVAA] i can't adjust the screen brightness with the fn keys. The driver currently in use is xorg-nouveau 1.0.16. The kernel currently in use is 5.2.9

Which backlights do you have available? (ls /sys/class/backlight)
Comment 2 Claudio Pantaleo 2019-08-27 17:39:19 UTC
On /sys/class/backlight there are two backlights, acpi_video0 and nv_backlight.
My distro in use is Solus, but the brightness never worked with any distro.
Comment 3 Ilia Mirkin 2019-08-27 18:02:51 UTC
Can you manually echo values into both and see which, if any, works? (There should be a pretty obvious file in there, like "brightness", or something...)
