Created attachment 145852 [details] good xorg.conf (Position 0 0) Strangely the mouse pointer does not appear if you specify Position 0 1080 instead of Position 0 0 for Monitor0 / LVDS-1. You can move the mouse wildely but it is not there. Such a little setting in xorg.conf should not irritate the X-server that gravely!
