A xv overlay adaptor has numerous problems when used with composite extension or AIGLX caused by simple fact that it is drawed to an overlay. The only clean solution to this is making another, texture-based, adaptor similar to "Textured video" found in i810 driver or "Video Texture" in proprietary nvidia driver.
