Is this log file from a crashed X server? If so, is there anything at the end of its stderr output? With gdm, that should be captured in /var/log/gdm/:0.log(.*). Created attachment 10546 [details]

I'm sorry for few details, but i don't speak english very well(i'm italian) Xorg crash totally after some minutes that composite manager is enabled. The only function that not crash is the mouse pointer, the rest is totally freeze CTRL+ALT+backspace doesn't work in this case, I have to use the reset button :( (In reply to comment #9) > I'm sorry for few details, but i don't speak english very well(i'm italian) > Xorg crash totally after some minutes that composite manager is enabled. > The only function that not crash is the mouse pointer, the rest is totally > freeze Your problem was similar with https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11434 (I have a ATI X300 PCIE rv370 card) > CTRL+ALT+backspace doesn't work in this case, I have to use the reset button :( > Use CTRL+SYS+S and CTRL+SYS+U and CTRL+SYS+B :) "Use CTRL+SYS+S and CTRL+SYS+U and CTRL+SYS+B :)" It doesn't work :( .... (In reply to comment #11) > "Use CTRL+SYS+S and CTRL+SYS+U and CTRL+SYS+B :)" > > It doesn't work :( .... > Look : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_SysRq_key >The X.org crash when a Composite manager is enabled >ATI Radeon X700[RV410] with mesa git and xorg-driver-ati I hope that a solution will be found Mass version move, cvs -> git Can you reproduce this bug on mesa 7.6? Closing due to lack of user feedback. |
