X log with intel driver, minimal config
I think I'm experiencing the same issue with a 945GM/GMS in a Dell Latitude D620 and external Dell 20" flat panel. With the intel driver the display complains that it needs 1600x1200 60Hz. Log indicates that it's sending 1280x1024.
intel module version is 2.0.0

X log with i810, no config
With the i810 driver I get the proper 1600x1200 display. I updated the driver to 2.1.0 and no change with the intel driver.
Is this a dup of bug #10625? Milosz: Please don't gzip logs -- just use text/plain. Could you add Option "ModeDebug" "YES" to the device section of xorg.conf and attach a log of a fresh startup with the monitor connected? Orion: please open your own bug for your own issue. Milosz, please respond. |
