Description Jens Stroebel 2007-07-09 08:48:21 UTC
We have a problem here with the combination of:

xserver-git+xorg-libs-git (which we package together as one "package")
kde-3.5.7
qt-3.3.8

The KDM login manager does not work in 2 ways:

- it is unable to draw the svg background when in "themed" mode
	(UseTheme=yes)
- when CAPSLOCK is pressed, it is impossible to switch it off again
(it's always toggled ON afterwards, restarting KDM is needed to get
back to OFF; this happens in "themed" as well as in "simple[greeter]" mode)

There are, unforunately, no log entries complaining about s.th. or the other.

The problem appeared between 2007-06-11 and now, for the git-version from 2007-06-11 is what we use without problems concerning the described behavior.

filing this under xserver was a misconception, as the actual fault lies somewhere in the library region.
