Description Treviño 2007-07-16 19:14:30 UTC
When I grab a window and I start moving it to another viewport I can see that while the Cube is rotating the window doesn't fit to the cube shape but for few ms it stays on the surface...
It's hard to explain... A screenshot could help. I'll post it in next comment.

A konsole window while rotating the cube

As you can see the window doesn't adhere to the cube surface at the beginning but it stays on the skydome space...

What version of compiz are you using? I think this is fixed in head. Re-open the bug if that's not the case.

I've checked latest compiz git and the bug rests...
I've also made a better screenshot while I'm grabbing my konsole window to another cube face... I'll attach it soon.

Buggy rotate of a konsole window

As you can see the window seems to be duplicated, one part clings to the cube (look inside the konsole transparency) surface another doesn't...

Could this bug be related to a similar bug that affects the users of the 3rd party 3D plugin (in that case the windows put at the angles don't adhere to the cube too, but show like a cross)?

What plugins do you have loaded? Is it still a problem when only cube and rotate plugins are loaded?
Comment 6 Treviño 2007-07-26 16:27:08 UTC
Yes It happens only with these plugins enabled...

Actually I'm using only compiz offical plugins (but loaded with compizconfig, but it shouldn't matter).

Bye
