Description Jussi Kukkonen [inactive] 2007-08-09 02:42:39 UTC
It seems an issue handling system would be useful for the geoclue project after all: I'd like to get a bugzilla product for it.

Suggested Components (if creating them isn't much trouble):
---
General
Master server
position-hostip
position-plazes
position-manual
position-gpsd
geocode-yahoo
map-yahoo
---

I've thought about the components list over. The original one will get old too fast, let's go with this one:
---
General
Master Server
Language bindings
Backends
---

who should the default assignee and qa contact be?

Hi Daniel Is it possible to have a dummy bugzilla user let s say "geoclue-bugs" as the default assignee That way anyone interested could just watch this user... If there s no standard way to do something like that please make me jhkukkon cc.hut.fi the default assignee. I don t think we need or have a QA contact at the moment. Thanks

Hmm, I have no idea what happened to to my comment there -- I'll try again:

Is it possible to have a dummy bugzilla user (let's say "geoclue-bugs") as the default assignee? That way anyone interested could just watch this user...

If there is no standard way to do something like that, please make me (jhkukkon@cc.hut.fi) the default assignee. I don't think we need or have a QA contact at the moment.

Thanks

the traditional way to do this is with a mailing list: is your mailing list okay?

I guess so. People can always filter the bugzilla messages and if the volume grows we'll just have to change the default assignee.

Let's go with your suggestion.
