I believe most of this is due to pkgconfig files for libs that swfdec depends on (like gtk pulling in gdk-pixbuf and atk). So I'd mark this as NOTOURBUG, unless you know a way to fix this? OK so don't know how to fix this! I will ask for the gtk2 packager... For now we can fix this by adding this is our spec file (after the configure step) # clean unused-direct-shlib-dependencies sed -i -e 's! -shared ! -Wl,--as-needed\0!g' libtool Brian, since you are the packager of swfdec for fedora, can you help with this issue?
