This is the worst kind of bug report you can make, just saying it doesn't work. Hardware information is needed, also load the drm module with debug=1 option ("insmod drm.ko debug=1" in the proper folder), so you can provide a usefull kernel log. Also make sure you run the latest git versions. A full xorg log is also usefull. Created attachment 11097 [details]

This is the correct XORG log.
Some NV04 fixes went in. Please retest with latest DRM/DDX I tried today the git nouveau driver with xorg and i get an identical crash. Are you interested in log (xorg/drm), if so i can give you this tomorrow. The original poster has a TNT2, you have a Geforce 7600. Please file a separate bug with full Xorg _and_ kernel logs. Only then we can help you. |
