"Please describe the problem:
I've found that evince is very very slow (several minutes) opening some pdf
files, e.g http://www.rygamb.dk/samlet.pdf

Adobe (on the same Gnome box) open the same file in 2-3 seconds ...

There are no error messages from evince when running from CLI

I can confirm it's only reproducible with cairo backend. There is a valid test case in the original GNOME bug report.
