Removed composite option in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, this problems disappear.

xorg-x11 version is 6.7.99.903.

please run the affected app with Composite enabled and XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1
in your environment.  see bug #1145.

this is almost certainly Gnome choking on the new ARGB visual.  reporter hasn't
responded so closing.
