Description Jon Phillips 2007-09-30 20:41:20 UTC
Hi all, while the sites are on osuosl.org, the SVN and mailing lists are still on fd.o :)

I would like to add the following to each project's SVN post-commit hook (which of course I don't have enough access too, and rightly so ;)

Open Clip Art Library
SVN: http://anonsvn.freedesktop.org/svn/openclipart/
Add to post-commits hook command:

    echo "To: ping+vtcqanjl@cia.vc" | sendmail -t

Open Font Library
http://anonsvn.freedesktop.org/svn/openfontlibrary
Add to post-commits hook command:

    echo "To: ping+kxrqznry@cia.vc" | sendmail -t

Create Project
Add to post-commits hook command:

    echo "To: ping+gvyweygd@cia.vc" | sendmail -t

Please add these to the post-commit hook for these SVN modules. Info about:

http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.1/ch05s02.html#svn-ch-5-sect-2.1

Until then, I have ciabot polling the svn urls every 30 minutes...which is just unnecessary and should be replaced with the post-commit hooks...

Thanks!

Actually, I just realized that SVN totally needs user accounts from freedesktop.org...so, I think best to just port over SVN to osuosl.org now. I am going to go ahead with this idea...is that okay?

What is the best way to do this?

Hi Jon, Looking at the svn repos they appear quite empty. Have you performed this move yourself already? If so I'll shutdown the fd.o svn repos for the projects.
