Description Christopher James Halse Rogers 2007-10-14 20:00:45 UTC
Running on a laptop with a geforce 7600Go & inbuilt LCD. Without the randr12 option set, the drivers work fine.

Attaching the Xorg.0.log, as requested.

LVDS is currently unsupported, until someone with a laptop comes around and reverse engineers it.
Comment 4 Christopher James Halse Rogers 2007-10-15 17:29:04 UTC
Ok. I've got one half of the requirements, then. Is reverse engineering LVDS something that I could (a) provide useful information for, or (b) easily learn how to do myself with little previous X experience?
Comment 5 Maarten Maathuis 2007-10-15 23:55:24 UTC
You should come to our irc channel (#nouveau on irc.freenode.net), because there is no such thing as a simple anser ;-)
Comment 6 Brian Tarricone 2007-11-17 16:42:59 UTC
I'm interested in this as well -- NV34M on ppc (PowerBook G4). I'm on #nouveau as kelnos|laptop. Ping me if I can be of any help.

RandR12 now drives my LVDS just fine. Marking as fixed.
