Description Kai-Uwe Behrmann 2007-10-16 06:01:25 UTC
At the OpenICC, we are planing several recommendation, which seems to fit good into freedesktop. Currently the proposals and recommendations are spread over the web. Our fd.o wiki site, www.freedesktop.org/wiki/OpenIcc, seems not to allow un-/locking a page, so we search for a better controllable place.
How can static fd.o hosting be arranged? How would the pages be specs accessible for versioning, linking and smaller corrections?

I'll try to start working on fixing the spec hosting soon (not before the end of the week though). Static hosting for other specs is here: http://standards.freedesktop.org/ but it's not perfect, IMHO.

Note that so far, the fact that the wiki is not lockable has not been an issue, so you can start with this.

Sorry for the noise, reassigning to new (since 2 years) maintainers (Ryan & David).

GitLab is arguably better hosting; I know this is 11.5 years too late, but if we can help OpenICC at all (including, yes, decent static page hosting), please contact me directly.
