Description Scott S. McCoy 2007-10-23 15:45:21 UTC
The ability to change focus using key bindings in a *controlled* fashion.
As opposed to iteratively changing focus (alt+tab) setting the focus to
the next available window in a given direction. (For instance, maybe
Super+<Arrow keys>) where the next available window is the nearest window
in a direction relative to the window which currently has focus.

This means in the example, Super+Left would focus on the window to
the left of the currently focused window. And Super+Right likewise
to the right, respectably.

(This feature is from pekwm)

A plugin which does this

I poked a request out for this long ago, finally it's annoyed me to the point where I decided to just go poke around and write a plugin that does it. I named it fairly generically and intend to add any additional features I can think if that I find myself missing from pekwm wrt keyboard navigation of windows.
