Description Simon 'corecode' Schubert 2007-10-24 11:48:55 UTC
After updating to Ubuntu 7.10 = xorg 7.3, ati 6.7.195 the brightness (or gamma) is way too high on my LCD. This is a desktop system. Playing with xgamma helps a bit, but contrast is still barely existing. Reverting to ati 6.6.3 (from git) fixes the problem.

I tried bisecting in git, but most of the time I can't start X then (no screens found or blank/powered off screen)
