Anyone? Howdy, I think this might be a non freedesktop.org related bug. http://sources.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=165 seems to indicate it's a gentoo bug. Perhaps to confirm you could do: export LC_ALL="C" then run the cvs command. Yep, looks like this does indeed fix the problem. Thanks! My system is Ubuntu Hardy with cvs 1.12.13 and LANG="en_US.UTF-8", LC_ALL="". It's weird that this doesn't happen with other CVS servers (sf.net, savannah.gnu.org). But anyway, it seems to be no freedesktop.org issue. So I guess this bug report can be closed. |
