If I have a large number of queued updates, and I scroll through the list, it generates a new request for each time I scroll. These requests are serviced much slower than the scroll rate, leading to a rather large backlog.

Should be fixed in git, now the requests are canceled when the user moves on. Please reopen if it still doesn't work quite right. Thanks.
