Description Ben Skeggs 2007-12-15 05:06:12 UTC
Tracker bug for my NV40 randr issues to keep stillunknown happy :)

First up: GPU panel scaling

The default panel scaling option produces bad looking modes. There are white lines across the width of the screen, in some modes it appears to be a gradient of white then a line or two of the "correct" image, then more white gradients.

Attatched is a log of starting X then:
darktama@beleth:~$ xrandr --output DVI-D-0 --mode 1024x768
darktama@beleth:~$ xrandr --output DVI-D-0 --set SCALING_MODE panel

After setting the scaling mode to "panel" the image is correct.

As i asked earlier, a mmio-trace trying the various scaling options in nvidia-settings would help.
Comment 3 Maarten Maathuis 2008-01-28 03:30:34 UTC
Are these issues still valid?
Comment 4 Ben Skeggs 2008-02-12 23:49:05 UTC
The issue no longer appears to be present with current git. Closing bug.
