On 965 platform(I tested on GM965 and Q965), when set the virtual size to 4192x4192 in xorg.conf, Xorg can not start up and complain: 

Fatal server error:
Couldn't bind memory for BO depth buffer

If set the virtual size to 8192x8192, Xorg can not start up and output:

(EE) intel(0): Failed to allocate space for kernel memory manager
(EE) intel(0): Failed to allocate framebuffer. Is your VideoRAM set too low?
(EE) intel(0): Failed to allocate framebuffer. Is your VideoRAM set too low?
(EE) intel(0): Failed to allocate framebuffer. Is your VideoRAM set too low?
(EE) intel(0): Couldn't allocate video memory

Fatal server error:
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0
