Outpu from LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo with Ubuntu 7.10
HI! I solved the bug while upgrading the dri and glx packages from the debian homepage: http://packages.debian.org/testing/ . Maybe the packages from http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/libs/ do even solve the bug, but i didn't try these packages. The installed Versions on my Computer are: libgl1-mesa-dri 7.0.2-3 libgl1-mesa-glx 7.0.2-3 There is only one limitation with these packages: When installing, the package libc6 is automatically updated. That causes the Systemlanguage is than in english (such as menues and windowtexts). While i'm a german (if you might has guess) i don' want the Sytemlanguage in english. Because of this, i replaced the libc6 package with one from the http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/base/ homepage. Now the Systemlanguage is German again. Because this bug seems to be debian-specific(?) i try to close this bug-description. So long Chnage the Resolution to "Notourbug" |
