Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace? Thanks in advance! > Sure, but since there are no debug packages for my distro, I should recompile them to take a stack trace. What packages, besides swfdec, do you think I should recompile? Are those that my distro's packaging system reports as dependencies fore swfdec enough? Recompiling swfdec and swfdec-mozilla should be enough in 90% of the cases. If it's not, I can tell you after having seen the stack trace. Created attachment 13955 [details]

This shouldn't happen anymore with current git, as that part of the code has been rewritten, so you could either try compiling git or wait for 0.5.6 and then test again. Petros, could you please compile a new version (0.6.4) and retry? Please reopen if it still happens with a newer version of swfdec. |
