By default, on my laptop, the "kernel" BACKLIGHT_CONTROL is used, and
that doesn't quite help xbacklight to work. I don't know what X uses in
such a case, but it appears that tweaking
/sys/class/backlight/sony/brightness doesn't work (the laptop is a vaio)
either, so it might just be a problem with the kernel driver.

Anyways, switching to the "native" BACKLIGHT_CONTROL makes xbacklight
work.

This has been verified with versions 2:2.2.0+git20080107-1 and 2:2.2.0.90-1 from debian unstable.

And I should have read debian's changelog, because actual latest RC is 2:2.2.0.90-2, which i tested, but has the same behaviour.
