Hi there,

I have Chipset Quadro NVS 290 with Core 2 Duo with 4 GB RAM

I can't start Xorg because of EE described in Summary.

I have same problem with nv and also proprietary nvidia module. 

kernel is x86_64 also userland is x86_64.

Tested today's git version (2008-02-13)

The nv driver relies on the server's PCI handling.  I'm not sure what the right component for this is, so moving over to Server/general.

Hello,

I have an update to this. I tried run 32bit live CD on this same hw and it worked!
So this is really 64bit related bug.
