HAL doesn't deal with sound. I suggest you file a bug on https://bugzilla.redhat.com under the appropriate component which may be using system-config-soundcard. Alternatively going into the mixer preferences in GNOME or KDE and turning up the volume on the appropriate sliders might help - I'm told this is an issue with FC2. I clicked on the bugzilla reporting at the Fedora/Reh Hat site and ended up here... |
