Description Alexander Ilin-Tomich 2008-02-18 09:56:05 UTC
These signs, long awaited by the professional community, have finally been included in the Unicode 5.1 specification.
A722	LATIN CAPITAL LETTER EGYPTOLOGICAL ALEF
A723	LATIN SMALL LETTER EGYPTOLOGICAL ALEF
A724	LATIN CAPITAL LETTER EGYPTOLOGICAL AIN
A725	LATIN SMALL LETTER EGYPTOLOGICAL AIN

By now they are only implemented in the New Athena Unicode (https://webfiles.berkeley.edu/~pinax/greekkeys/NAUdownload.html).

Another font that implements these signs is Doulos SIL.

These signs are now also implemented in Code2000, Everson Mono, Quivira ( http://www.quivira-font.com/ ) , Sacco-Vanzetti ( http://openfontlibrary.org/media/files/Daniel_J/381 ). But it would be great to see them in DejaVu!

The request has been fulfilled and the current version of DejaVu has the requested signs
