file says:
 FLI file - 72 frames, width=320 pixels, height=200 pixels, depth=8, ticks/frame=3


file is right in this case.

Can I do something else to help debug ?

As of today: File "/home/chris/Desktop/pmotion.fli" has a mime-type of video/x-flic.
