When I try to compile cairo-1.5.12, I got an error when I run check-TESTS : check-doc-syntax.sh FAILS.

Thanks for the bug report, these errors have now been fixed.

I'm still seeing this with cairo 1.5.20, which was released after the bug was closed.

I've just upgraded to cairo 1.6.4 and the bug is fixed there.
