Go to the page in teh URL field. Click the swfdec play button, click the video play button (it's from youtube) and Epiphany freezes, using 100% of the CPU.

libswfdec-0.6-90 0.6.4-2 (you need to add 0.6.x to the version list in bugzilla)
swfdec-mozilla 0.6.0-2ubuntu1
epiphany-browser 2.22.1.1-0ubuntu1
xulrunner-1.9 1.9~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3

Let me know if you need any other details.

Confirm that the embedded youtube player is pretty heavy on cpu with master git but doesn't hang.
Comment 2 Michael Gratton 2008-04-24 05:10:20 UTC
Hmm. Epy sticks solid for me - completely unresponsive even after some time. Maybe the trunk is less broken than 0.6.
Comment 3 Benjamin Otte 2008-04-24 05:30:23 UTC
Yeah, it's been fixed in 0.7.

0.6 is pretty ugly if the iterating takes too much CPU, user events will not be handled anymore.

See http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-devel-list/2008-March/msg00184.html for details.
