Swfdec is a Flash player, not a video player. We used to support FLV playback in the 0.4 series, but since setup for SWF and FLV is completely different and confused the player, I dropped it. Use Totem to play back FLV files. I submitted this because the URL turned up as one of the "Loaded stream" urls while trying to view the movie at http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/15/rage-trailer-now-with-ea-logo/. Admittedly, I'm now getting a different error ("SWFDEC: ERROR: swfdec_video_decoder.c(368): swfdec_video_decoder_errorv: error decoding video: failed to pull decoded buffer") but the result is the same: no video. The video in question plays fine here, git version |
