Evdev supports ButtonMapping, buttons specified as 0 are disabled. i.e. Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 0 0" disables the wheel. pushed as 53e7525744cd7c47707c7339f0b771f59f99b97c Created attachment 33808 [details]
Fix activation through hald.
Providing glue as i have not found application of this fix too much end-user friendly/intuitive.
