This bug is used to indicate bugs that must be fixed before X11R6.8.2 can ship.

Anyone can add bugs to block this bug; this is a way for developers to ensure
that their requests for bugs to be fixed for the bug fix release will not get
lost and see serious consideration.  The release manager/wranglers can always
decide no, and reassign bugs that should not go in the release to subsequent
releases.

There is a companion documentation bug, and bugs that are marked fixed, but
should be release noted should be moved to block that bug rather than closed
completely.
That way we won't lose release notes.

Please nominate patches via bugzilla flags as described in
http://freedesktop.org/pipermail/release-wranglers/2004-October/001090.html and
_not_ via the "dependicy" field (="bug 1693 depends on").

Closing since 6.8.2 shipped and there are no outstanding dependencies to track.
