If you accept someone onto 'publish' on XMPP, haze shows them as being on 'subscribe', despite no subscription request ever being sent. This is because libpurple adds people who are subscribed to you to your buddy list, with attribute _("Subscription:"), _("From"), but haze treats the buddy list as 'subscribe'.
