Description
Philip Van Hoof

Real name: Philip Van Hoof Preferred username: pvanhoof E-mail address: pvanhoof@gnome.org Howdy, you'll need someone from the project to vouch for your account request. Could you please either provide a link to someone asking you to request an account or get someone from the project to comment on this bug report. Ping 1 This is about a new project. The spec can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/ThumbnailerSpec It's implemented and used by XFCE: http://git.xfce.org/apps/tumbler/ And Maemo5, and will be used in Maemo6 too: http://gitorious.org/maemo-af/tumbler For XFCE you can get in touch with Jannis Pohlmann (jannis@xfce.org) for more information. I worked with Philip on improving the spec and implemented it for Xfce in the meantime. It'd be great to move the specification to freedesktop.org now that we have at least two projects using it (via the same implementation: tumbler). I'd like to get an account for the project as well but I guess that is better requested in a separate bug, huh? Hi folks, seem this bug slipped through the cracks. Philip are you still after a fd.o account for this spec? (In reply to comment #6) > Hi folks, seem this bug slipped through the cracks. Philip are you still after > a fd.o account for this spec? Yes please Vincent, can you ack this please, as you're the owner of the specs project? +1. Philip, if it's just for a spec, maybe you can add it to the xdg-specs repo? Account created; welcome and sorry for the wait. (In reply to comment #9) > +1. Philip, if it's just for a spec, maybe you can add it to the xdg-specs > repo? Can do, you have more specific instruction on how I'll proceed and add it to that repo? (In reply to comment #11) > (In reply to comment #9) > > +1. Just create a subdirectory, and go wild in there. If you want to import history, then you can cheat (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1683531/how-to-import-existing-git-repository-into-another) -- in that case, it might be better to do that in a branch first, though. |
