Description Kai-Uwe Behrmann 2008-09-09 07:34:35 UTC
PDF specifies a ICC colour space. Its support is requested.
The output colour space should be flexible selectable per class of elements,
e.g. text versus bitmaps, DeviceCmyk, ICCbased ...

Here some examples:

The following link shows the usage of ICC profiles in HTML and PDF:

A extensive test about colour management in PDF is given within the Altona
test suite:

Please don't play with bugzilla attributes, it's not there for the users, it's there for the developers.

BTW, you should read http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/poppler/2008-August/003980.html

Yf you are interested in color management it's much better to discuss it in the mailing list than via bugzilla

You guys could be interested in having a look at Koji's patch at http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/poppler/2008-December/004281.html and maybe commenting too

I've commited Koji's patch to poppler master, now the samples linked here have the same output than in acroread, so i'm closing the bug, please reopen in case you have more pdf at hand that don't render correctly.
