This is the same document as for bug 17919.

Go to page #3. The background is not displayed properly in Evince, the frame is too small.

Attached is how it is rendered in xpdf. 

I use libpoppler3-0.8.7

Confirmed to be cairo only

This seems to be already fixed. Feel free to reopen it if the problem persists for you with current poppler. Thanks for reporting.

hey hub, I don't know :-P, I tried with poppler from git master, but I don't know which commit fixed the problem. I think it should be fixed in poppler 0.11.0.
