Adjusted HW platform, OS and X-version. Version X-server: X.Org X Server 1.5.2 Release Date: 10 October 2008 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0 Build Operating System: openSUSE SUSE LINUX Current Operating System: Linux h110 2.6.25.18-0.2-default #1 SMP 2008-10-21 16:30:26 +0200 x86_64 Build Date: 22 October 2008 08:42:28PM What has mentioned R300 to do with this bug report or even to radeonhd? You use X Server 1.5.2 and Mesa 7.2 - that is fine for RS690. I guess problem is that radeonhd was compiled with --disable-dri option: (WW) RADEONHD(0): DRI support has been disabled at compile time Can you try other package with radeonhd or compile it yourself? Part I don't understand: (II) RADEONHD(0): Xv: No Textured Video possible without the Command Processor. From your log file: (WW) RADEONHD(0): DRI support has been disabled at compile time Question is why DRI was disabled in the opensuse builds. It was not disabled a week ago. I do not compile the driver myself. I am using the builds for opensuse 11.0 From which repository did you update xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd? Post full address, please. rpm -qa | grep xorg: xorg-x11-libXau-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-libxcb-32bit-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-fonts-core-7.4-1.4 xorg-x11-fonts-7.4-1.4 xorg-x11-libSM-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXv-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXmu-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-server-7.4-11.5 xorg-x11-libICE-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXpm-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXfixes-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXprintUtil-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libs-32bit-7.4-6.1 xorg-x11-driver-video-unichrome-20080807-13.21 xorg-x11-libfontenc-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-server-extra-7.4-11.5 xorg-x11-libICE-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libxkbfile-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXext-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXv-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXprintUtil-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libs-7.4-6.1 xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.2.3_081101_f29a3d2-5.3 xorg-x11-libxcb-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-driver-video-7.4-18.4 xorg-x11-libxkbfile-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-xauth-7.4-9.2 xorg-x11-libX11-ccache-7.4-1.21 xorg-x11-libfontenc-32bit-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-libXdmcp-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-7.4-8.1 xorg-x11-Xvnc-7.4-11.5 xorg-x11-libX11-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXrender-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXfixes-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXt-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXp-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXpm-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXrender-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libSM-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXt-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-driver-input-7.4-10.6 xorg-x11-libXau-32bit-7.4-1.1 xorg-x11-libX11-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXext-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXp-32bit-7.4-1.2 xorg-x11-libXmu-7.4-1.2 I asked about repository, not package :| Just guessing you use http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_11.0/ or http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/Drivers:/Video/openSUSE_11.0/ I mailed Stefan with link to this bug report. The latest package that was issued today was compiles with DRI support again. 3D Works again. Package version: xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.2.3_081106_bb14c00-8.1 jbouwh: package was updated (thanks for Stefan and Matthias), should work fine now. Use YaST to update this package or just type in console zypper in xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd as root. Uh, I missed comment #11 (browser cache?). You already noticed update of package :) |
