"I drag my mouse over text and I think it should only highlight what I've dragged over.

Evince actually highlights parts of previous portions of text, many times including the bullet on the same line, parts of the line from a different column, or other pieces of text."

"In the attachment you should note that two of the bullets are highlighted (as seen different from a bullet above) and it should look fairly clear that the neither of the bullets should be highlighted but only the text should."
