Hello,

after the update from xf86-video-ati 6.8 to 6.9, the screens stays black if I close and open the lid. The only way to get it back is to switch to another virtual terminal(e.g. CTRL-ALT-F1) and then switch back to X.org.

It is running on a HP Compaq NC6000 laptop, with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 M10/RV350 graphics chip. xorg.conf will be attached.

I am sorry. My distributor(Arch Linux) patched the 6.9.0 package with stuff from git. If I remove that patch, the backlight turns on correctly. But the problem is still present in git(tested around 3 days ago).

can you attach your xorg log?

Hello,

I'm sorry for my inactivity. I've upated my laptop today, and the bug seems to be solved. I'm using xf86-video-ati 6.10.0 right now, double-checked for additional patches this time(none are used ;)).
