dmesg after startx
This works now with latest nouveau kernel or latest vanilla kernel. I only tested without MigrationHeuristic greedy. Clemens |

Created attachment 21446 [details] Xorg.0.log The xmms playlist shows randomly scattered blue points all over the window, instead of the expected blue text. xcompmgr active or not does not make a difference. No framebuffer drivers are active. After adding Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy" to the Device Section (as suggested by stillunknown on #nouveau) fixes the playlist window, but now all other windows show artifacts. This is on Linux darc 2.6.27 #3 SMP PREEMPT Tue Dec 23 12:12:22 CET 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux with 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8600M GS (rev a1) I will add xorg.conf and dmesg in response to this.
