Created attachment 21984 [details] opening in firefox triggers bug i searched for the value of firefox pref "network.IDN.blacklist_chars" which is " ¼½ǃ̷̸׃״۔܂ᅟᅠ ․‧ ‹›⁄ ⅔⅕⅖⅙⅚⅛⅟∕⎮⧶⧸⫻⫽⿰⿱⿲⿳⿴⿵⿶⿷⿸⿹⿺⿻ 。〔〕〳ㅤ㈝㈞㎮㎯㏆㏟︔︕︿﹝﹞./。ᅠ"(UTF-8) in google. The resultant window title is the culprit. If i switch to the tab where i searched for this string all my gnome-panels hide. As long as that tab is open in that window, or that page in any Firefox windows (or any profile etc), even if not focused, the panels hide. Its a little buggy where at least one of the panels will still accept clicks and is only sort of hidden. Also has this effect in Metacity so it may not be your bug. I am not running devilspie.
