My compiz version is 0.7.8 and I am on Ubuntu 8.10. I have window wobble turned on, but this is definitely not normal wobbling. I noticed that when I drug a window to the right to move it one workspace in that direction, sometimes the window would start making wobble spasms. This seemed to only happen when I was moving the window a workspace to the right and mostly when I was moving the window slowly towards the edge of the screen. The spasms sort of drag out to the right, but most eventually return to the normal unwobbly state. Sometimes, however, the windows drag out so far that they are no longer visible, and do not return to their original state.

I believe I have this issue too. I'm on Ubuntu 10.04 64bit Compiz 0.8.4 with nvidia 8800GT using the proprietary drivers (195.36.24)

When I try to drag maximized windows onto a different head/workspace, they seem to get stuck in maximized mode, and they "spasm" as described above, and this makes it very difficult to move them. I've made a video of exactly what happens, as it's rather difficult to describe.

I seem to bump into this issue a lot with specific applications, mainly geany and thunderbird.
