To me it looks like the application/tookit issue. Or configuration issue. If you add second layout (say, US), it should work ok at least in gtk apps. If we put 0 into third level and make Ctrl a switcher to the 3rd level, you'll get O when you press Ctrl-à. But it won't be Ctrl+O (because Ctrl will not be Ctrl any more). We had hot discussions about same thing in Russian layout, when, for example, Ctrl-Щ is not recognized as Ctrl-O in shortcuts - but adding US layout fixes that, at least in proper gtk apps (it was an issue for Firefox for a looooong while). for the record, Epiphany 2.27.92 just got a fix about that : Reset font size with ctrl+0 from num block (#573624) |
