Also wanted to point out that people do really use Xdmx and having it broken in xorg 1.5.x is sad. I've added it to the nomination list on http://www.x.org/wiki/Server15Branch but I don't know of anyone planning to release any more 1.5.x releases now that most have moved to 1.6.x.
