Is this a regression? Did the card used to work with the driver in the past and if so, when (what version)? Sorry, this was my fault. fglrx was interfering here. I've had to remove it completely and reinstall xorg-server. Now the radeon driver works (in parts). There are still problems with vt-switch. But I think this come from drm, not the radeon driver. |

Created attachment 23457 [details] Xorg.0.log With the xf86-video-ati driver I only get a black screen when starting X with some artefacts across the top border. I've tested it with no kernel support. Neither drm.ko nor radeon.ko was loaded.
