Not much to say ... both JID and password work without a hitch with other XMPP clients and it used to work with older versions of empathy/telepathy.

Attached are logs both from telepathy-gabble and empathy (obtained according to http://live.gnome.org/Empathy/Debugging).

The Gabble log says the server is rejecting your authentication. What does Empathy tell you?

Okay, resolving as a duplicate. Debian ships a patched loudmouth to fix this (with the patch on #20158); Fedora should do the same, until a new upstream release is made.
