This memory leak is fixed by commit 7b6400a1b8d2f228fcbedf17c30a7e3924e4dd2a (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/commit/?id=7b6400a1b8d2f228fcbedf17c30a7e3924e4dd2a) on git master. Am new to the world of bug reporting in Xorg. Can you answer a couple of questions please. 1. So, to test the the fix should I install the live build of xorg-server or will it appear in 1.6.2 or 1.7 ? 2. Should the bug be marked as closed/fixed? Ok, my bad. The bug is already marked as fixed. Didn't see it properly. :P This is going to sound stupid - I marked it as fixed... guess I am still figuring out things. :) |
