Description Tamás Németh 2009-05-06 23:06:15 UTC
I often have to reload the window manager (I do it from the fusion-icon application) because of https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21592

In addition to this, after every reload, I have to minimize and restore every window, because:

-Every windows' decoration seems to be inactive after the reload (dim color, missing buttons).

-If I select a window to be active (clicking on it), it's decoration remains unchanged. However, after selecting another window and the back this one, the window border's color becomes lighter, but the buttons are still missing.

-To regain the lost window manager buttons, I have to minimize and restore every window.

BTW, I use X.org 7.4 (1.5.2 server) on a 64 bit openSUSE 11.1, compiz is compiz fusion 0.7.8, and runs on intel driver (945 GM card) with AIGLX.

emerald

Here you can see an active window after window manager reloading: dim color, missing buttons. (I've forgotten to mention that I use emerald.)
