I meant to also add :

The link in the URL doesn't work anymore. Even http://linux-tablet-pc.dhs.org doesn't work anymore. Luckily, after some searching, I found a tarball of the tc1k driver at http://www.zacharywhitley.com/linux/installation/Compaq_TC-1000_tars/ as tc1k-1.1zw1.tar.gz

I'm uploading it here so it doesn't get lost again. Sorry for the double message.
